The Perch February 2018

We took a small team of two Veterans out on a winter camping overnight adventure! The trek started at the Eagle River Nature Center, the weather was beautiful blue skies and temps hanging in the 20’s. We trekked about 4 miles in to The Perch at the bend of Eagle River. Set camp as the sun was fading, and hunkered down for a cold night of about -10. Day 2, the team got moving, broke camp, and we navigated back, trekking on the frozen Eagle River.
